Rockabilly Eggplant with Angel

I started painting an eggplant, that morphed into the shape of a tear-drop/mandolin (?) and seems to be rocking. When seen in a certain light, and from the right angle, a wing shape appears in the upper right-( see the next image). This was a surprise for me- I saw it at the end.
This piece evolved over many months after my moms passing, and then beyond. I was surprised at how "modern" it looks.
