Likenesses
Likenesses is constructed of a large photocopy of architecture in ruin, torn to show a fibrous grass like texture underneath. It is over-laid with a photograph I took of the woven bark of a palm tree, adorned with a bit of fake fur. I hope this piece shows the similarities of the photographic image of the architecture, blown up until its image appears to be in a state of dissolution (like its subject), and the nature to which it is returning.
